Moore Sweeps Weekly Honors — Claims Both Region 12 and National Player of the Week Awards

When the lights were brightest, La'Nia Moore didn't just rise to the moment she owned it,
delivering a week so dominant it captured both regional and national recognition.

La'Nia Moore (4) delivered yet another electrifying week for the Triceratops, securing NJCAA Region 12 Player of the Week honors for the second time in just four weeks. Her dominance didn't stop there.
Moore's exceptional play also earned her NJCAA National Player of the Week, placing her firmly among the top performers in the country.

Across a three-game stretch in which Cuyahoga went 2–1, the standout forward was nothing short of unstoppable. Moore averaged an astounding 27.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 2.3 assists,
showcasing her all-around impact on both ends of the floor.

She opened the week with a performance for the record books, erupting for 40 points against Community Christian—single-handedly outscoring the entire opposing team—in a dominant 108–38 victory.
She shot a blistering 19-of-22 from the field, one of the most efficient scoring outings across the NJCAA this season.

Moore's impact has extended well beyond a single week. Statistically, she has emerged as one of the nation's most dominant forces:

  • Top 5 nationally in total rebounds

  • Top 10 nationally in offensive rebounds

  • Top 15 nationally in defensive rebounds

  • Top 20 nationally in scoring

Her consistency has been just as impressive, recording double-doubles in all three games this week and never dropping below 19 points or 11 rebounds in any contest.

With performances like these and elite national rankings to match, Moore continues to solidify herself as not only one of the premier players in Region XII but one of the
most dynamic and unstoppable stars in the entire country.
