Triceratops top Titans for a conference Victory

PARMA, Ohio – Under a brilliant autumn sun at West Campus, the Triceratops delivered a statement performance against the Titans of Terra State, emphatically avenging their earlier conference tie with a commanding victory that showcased both offensive firepower and tactical precision.

The Triceratops wasted no time establishing their intent, coming out of the gates with relentless pressure that caught the visiting Titans off guard. Sophomore sensation Stefan Trmcic was the architect of the early demolition, netting a spectacular hat trick in the opening 45 minutes to put his team firmly in control with a 3-0 halftime advantage.

Trmcic's clinical finishing was the perfect complement to an attacking display that saw the Triceratops register an impressive 25 shots on goal throughout the match. The sophomore's movement in the final third proved too much for the Titans' defense to handle, as he found space time and again to punish any defensive lapses.

The offensive onslaught wasn't limited to Trmcic's heroics. Sophomore Baraka Mwakilasa proved to be a constant threat, contributing a goal of his own while setting up two additional scores with precise assists that highlighted his vision and creativity in the attacking third. Stephen Forges also made his mark on the scoresheet, adding to what became a comprehensive team performance.

Following the victory, Head Coach Devan Anderson was quick to praise his opponent while emphasizing his team's mindset moving forward. "The Titans are incredibly talented and relentless – we have tremendous respect for what they bring to every match," Anderson noted. "But we knew we had to make a statement today, and we're going to remain in attack mode. This team has the quality to take the game to anyone in this conference."

The victory serves as the perfect response to their earlier stalemate with Terra State, demonstrating the growth and maturity of a Triceratops squad that appears to be hitting its stride at the perfect time in the conference season. With performances like this, the Triceratops are sending a clear message to the rest of the conference that they're ready to compete at the highest level.

The dominant display on this picture-perfect fall afternoon in Parma will surely give the Triceratops tremendous confidence as they continue their conference campaign, having proven they can deliver when revenge is on the menu.
