Tops Move to 6-0 with 101-65 stomp

Tri-C took another road trip and this time it was to Detroit, Michigan to play NJCAA Region XII opponent, Community Christian College.

The Tops struggled early to find their footing, leading by only 40-39 at half.  They had that lead because of Ronoik Grewal coming off the bench and hitting 5 three pointers.  The second half was a different story.  Devin Haid scored 24 of his game high 30 points in the second half.  He also chipped in 10 rebounds.  Running the show with a steady hand was Jordan Persad as he finished with 15 points and 7 assists.  Nekhi Smith also added a double-double for the Tops (12 points and 10 rebounds).

The Tops will have a two game homestand as they head to Thanksgiving break.  This will be the first home games after a two year hiatus.  They will open up their home season with a 6 pm tip Friday evening against ISA Academy.  Then they will welcome in Schoolcraft on Tuesday night at 7:30 as the back end of a W/M Doubleheader.  The Schoolcraft WBK team is currently ranked 12th in the country so come early and watch both games.  It is also Senior Citizens Night, so there will be some giveaways for Senior Citizens.  Admission is free!
