Triceratops Dominate Lakeland in 92-60 Rout

4 February 2026 Kirtland, Ohio

The Triceratops put on a clinic Wednesday night, dismantling conference rival Lakeland 92-60 behind a balanced offensive attack and suffocating defense.

La'Nia Moore was a force in the paint. Moore looks fully recovered from a nagging ankle injury as she recorded a monster double-double of 21 points and 17 rebounds, including six offensive boards that fueled second-chance opportunities. But Moore had plenty of help. Syair Young led all scorers with a game-high 26 points while adding seven rebounds and two assists in an efficient performance.

The scoring depth proved too much for the Lakers to handle. Hayley Stoddard added 15 points, and Summer Hastings-Peterson chipped in 11 as four Triceratops reached double figures.

The Triceratops were lights-out from beyond the arc, drilling shots at a blistering 48% clip while limiting Lakeland to just 25% from three-point range. The Lakers shot only 36% overall, unable to find any offensive rhythm against the stingy Triceratops defense.

The dominance was perhaps most evident on the glass, where the Triceratops controlled the boards 49-26, turning that advantage into easy transition opportunities and limiting Lakeland to one-and-done possessions.

With the 32-point victory, the Triceratops continue to assert themselves as a force in conference play.
