Triceratops Roll to 6-0 with Dominant Conference-Opening Win

Cleveland, Ohio – The Triceratops opened conference play with an 88-33 victory over the Commodores of Lorain CC, improving to 6-0 on the season. The home team established control early and never looked back, building a 20-8 first-quarter lead behind La'Nia Moore's 9 points.

Jayleena Bauzo paced the Triceratops with a game-high 20 points on 6-16 shooting, adding 6-8 from the free-throw line. Dorianna Hastings-Peterson contributed 18 points on efficient 7-13 shooting, while Moore finished with 15 points on 5-9 from the field and 15 rebounds (nine offensive). Summer Hastings-Peterson added 14 points, and Kylie Goodlet chipped in 6 points on 3-4 shooting.

The Triceratops dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Commanders 38-13 to extend their lead to 74-29 heading into the final period. Dorianna Peterson led the surge with 11 points in the frame.
