Triceratops Dominate Oakland CC to Stay Perfect at 5–0

Highland Hills, Ohio — The Cuyahoga Community College Triceratops extended their unbeaten streak to 5–0 with a commanding 113–56 win over Oakland Community College on Saturday. Cuyahoga's balanced scoring, relentless defense, and sharp shooting overwhelmed the Owls from start to finish.

The Triceratops exploded out of the gate, racing to a 38–9 first-quarter lead. La'Nia Moore set the tone early, scoring the team's opening basket and sparking a personal six-point run. She finished with a game-high 29 points on an efficient 73% shooting. Syair Young added back-to-back threes in the opening frame, fueling the early surge that left Oakland reeling.

Ty Parker took over in the second quarter, scoring 11 points on 71% shooting to help Cuyahoga build a commanding 71–22 halftime advantage. Young continued her hot streak, finishing with 24 points and 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
