Bio

Valencia Griffin serves as an assistant coach for the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Women’s Basketball program, bringing her passion for player development and post-position expertise to the Triceratops. A former high school standout, Coach Griffin continued her basketball journey as a collegiate athlete, earning a spot as a walk-on at Michigan Tech University, where she developed a strong understanding of the game from the post-player perspective.

At Tri-C, she works closely with student-athletes at the four and five positions, helping them refine technical skills, build confidence, and prepare for competition at the next level. In addition to on-court coaching, Griffin meets individually with players to establish personalized development plans, emphasizing growth both athletically and academically.
