In the final game of the Tri-C Women's Basketball Holiday Classic, the Tri-C Women's Basketball team battled back twice from double digit deficits only to fall 51-49 to Malcolm X (Chicago).
Tori Smith continued her great play as she had 19 points to lead the Tops and made it a double-double with 11 rebounds. Zarina Fader had 9 points, while Briana Bunkley chipped in 8 points. Dariah Kirksey led the Tops with 4 assists.
The Tops (8-5) will conclude their first semester of games with a road trip on Wednesday to Region XII foe, Schoolcraft College for a 5:30 pm tip.
