Tri-C Women's Basketball Loses Heartbreaker, 77-75
Despite 31 points and 16 rebounds from Quimari Shelton, the Tops let a 12 point halftime lead slip away on the road Wednesday night at Hocking College in their first OCCAC game of the season. Briana Bunkley chipped in 21 points and LaTaijha Cherry had 10 rebounds.
After starting the season 5-0, the Tops have now lost two straight to fall to 5-2 and 0-1 in OCCAC play.
Up next is a trip to NJCAA Region XII opponent, Macomb College on 12/2 before returning home on Wednesday night (12/7) for an OCCAC game against Lorain CC as part of the Women's/Men's Doubleheader and Marian Sterling Night at the Metro Gymnasium.
