Boguski, Guarnieri earn NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (athletics.tri-c.edu) – The National Fastpitch Coaching Association has named Cuyahoga Community College softball players Braelyn Boguski (Fr./Parma, Ohio) and Adriana Guarnieri (Fr./Chillicothe, Ohio) to their Easton All-American Scholar-Athlete lists, June 29.

The award recognizes softball players who achieve a minimum of a 3.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale across the entire academic year.

Both Boguski and Guarnieri earned spots on the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference All-Academic teams in the Fall and Spring semesters as well, with both players carrying a 4.0 GPA across the 2025-26 academic year.

Boguski, who is majoring in business and psychology, is working towards her career goal of working as a therapist with a business background, with the possibility of owning her own counseling business. On the field, she saw action in 29 games with the Triceratops, posting a .350 batting average with 22 runs scored and three stolen bases. She scored a run in Tri-C's win over Grand Rapids Community College at the NJCAA Division II Softball World Series.

Guarnieri is majoring in business and accounting. On the diamond, the freshman outfielder appeared in 40 games for the Triceratops, with a .364 batting average, 33 RBIs, 30 runs scored and 13 stolen bases. The freshman earned First Team All-OCCAC honors and posted three hits with one run scored and two RBIs during the Triceratops' time in the World Series.
