OCCAC tabs Josi Miliken as week’s top hitter

PARMA, Ohio (athletics.tri-c.edu) – Freshman outfielder Josi Miliken (Fr./Beloit, OH) earned Ohio Community College Athletic Association honors after powering Cuyahoga Community College softball team to three wins the past week. 

Miliken was the unquestioned star of the week for Tri-C, recording at least one hit, one run and multiple RBIs in all four of Tri-C's contests. Her full line included going 9-for-13 at the plate (.692) with a triple, home run, 10 RBIs and scoring six runs.  

On the season, Miliken is hitting .425 with 29 RBIs and nine runs scored. She ranks second on the team in runs batted in, tied with Reese Adkins (So./Oak Harbor, OH) and one behind Lexi Grey (So./ Tallmadge, OH). 

UP NEXT 

Miliken and the Triceratops will be back in action this Friday, April 17 for a home OCCAC doubleheader against Lakeland Community College. First pitch from the West Campus Softball Field is scheduled for 3 p.m.
