Triceratops Dominate The Hocking Hawks in Friday's Doubleheader with Offensive Explosion
The Triceratops opened their Friday doubleheader against the Hocking Hawks in dominant fashion, sweeping both games with decisive wins of 13–2 and 12–6.
In game one, the Triceratops set the tone early and never looked back behind a stellar performance from Julee Phillips in the circle. She tossed a complete game over six innings, striking out eight and allowing zero earned runs in a commanding outing. At the plate, the offense was firing on all cylinders. Sophia Durbin led the charge with three hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Reese Adkins delivered a strong performance as well, driving in three runs on two hits, including a double, while crossing the plate twice. Josi Miliken added two hits, including a double, along with two runs scored and an RBI, and Lexi Grey contributed a key double while driving in three runs.
The Triceratops carried that momentum into game two, securing the sweep with a 12–6 victory. The offense stayed hot, led by a standout performance from Reese Adkins, who racked up five hits including a double, scored three runs, and added a stolen base. Lexi Grey continued her big day at the plate, driving in four runs on three hits, including another double, to help power the Triceratops to the win.
