VB Weekend Wrap Up: Tops drop 2 on the road

The Tri-C Women's VB team dropped two road games this weekend, losing on Friday to Clark State, 3-0 and on Saturday to Edison State, 3-0.  

The team lost to Clark, 25-22, 25-12, 25-18.  Jynx Bretz led the Tops with 9 kills on the evening.  Makenzi Thompson added 7.  Imani Hendon continued to set the table for the Tops with 15 assists adding 9 digs.  Mallory Rice and Makenzie Langford also chipped in 8 digs each for the Tops.

Tri-C after a short night, traveled to Edison on Saturda for an early afternoon game agains the Chargers.  The set scores were:  25-22, 25-8, 25-16.  Jynx Bretz totaled 14 kills for the Tops on the day adding 10 digs as well. Imani Hendon had another 15 assists to lead the Tops.  Mallory Rice led the Tops in digs with 15 and Mackenzie Langford chipped in 10 digs.

The Tops fall to 3-14 and will end their season with a Wednesday trip to take on Terra State at 6 pm.
