In a very competitve match, the Triceratops fell to a tough Grove City College JV team Thursday night at the Eastern Campus Gymnasium, 3-0. The set scores were 25-17, 25-23 and 25-19.
The Tops were led in kills by Mackenzie Thompson with 8. Jynx Bretz chipped in 7 kills. Imani Hendon had 16 assists for Tri-C. Mallory Rice led the Tops with 13 digs on the night.
Tri-C will resume play next Friday and Saturday hosting Clark State and Edison at the Eastern Campus. They will play Clark on Friday at 6 pm and Edison on Saturday morning at 10 am.
