The Triceratops crush Community Christian College 108 - 38

The Triceratops remained undefeated with a commanding 108-38 victory over Community Christian CC at home, improving its perfect record to 8-0. The team delivered an outstanding team performance that showcased their depth, skill, and balanced scoring attack throughout all four quarters.

The game was never in doubt as The Triceratops jumped out to an early 24-3 lead after the first quarter, with La'Nia Moore leading the charge with 9 points in the opening frame. The second quarter saw explosive offensive contributions from multiple players, as Summer Peterson went on a hot streak, scoring 8 points in the period, while Jaylenna Bauzo caught fire with a 6-point scoring run to help extend the lead to 58-17 at halftime.

La'Nia Moore absolutely dominated the game with a spectacular 40-point performance, shooting an incredible 86% from the field (19-22). Her scoring was particularly impressive in the third and fourth quarters, where she put together an 8-point scoring streak that helped seal the victory. Moore's efficient shooting and consistent scoring throughout the game were the driving force behind the team's offensive success.

 

The supporting cast also delivered excellent performances, with Tylia Parker contributing 14 points on efficient 75% shooting from the field while going perfect from the free-throw line. Teavonna Clemets added 12 points, including two three-pointers, while both Jaylenna Bauzo and Summer Peterson chipped in 11 points each. The team's balanced scoring attack and unselfish play created numerous scoring opportunities and demonstrated the depth that has made them such a formidable opponent this season.
