Triceratops Edge Past Clark State Eagles on Alumni Day

The Triceratops (10-14, 5-7) narrowly defeated the Eagles of Clark State CC (7-16, 2-10) on February 22, 2025, at the East Campus Gymnasium. Hazely Wagner led the charge with 14 points on 50% shooting, adding seven steals and just one turnover in 40 minutes. Tyairah Flowers contributed 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

After a slow start, with only eight points in the first quarter, the Lady Triceratops surged in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 20-10 in the third quarter and maintaining the lead. Coach Dion Griffin praised his team's resilience, saying, "We stuck together and made the plays that were in front of us."

Rosalyn Evans delivered a strong performance with seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 34 minutes, stepping up in the absence of Artica Conner. Coach Griffin highlighted her potential, emphasizing the need for consistency.
