The Tri-C Women's Basketball team fell on Saturday to Hocking College at the Metro Gymnasium in OCCAC play. The Tops battled all game long but in the end just didn't have enough for the Hawks.
The Tops only trailed the Hawks, 29-27 at half but an 18-10 Hawks advantage in the third quarter proved the difference. The team was led by Ashley Keener who tallied 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals, while Ashley Little and Marybella Dunlap both scored 10 for Tri-C. Dunlap also chipped in 7 rebounds and Dariah Kirksey had 7 assists at the point.
Hocking is now 4-7 overall and 3-4 in the OCCAC while the Tops fall to 8-9 and 0-6.
Tri-C will take to the road Monday night to play a non-conference game at Jamestown CC at 5:30 this evening.
