45 Triceratops earn Spring OCCAC All-Academic Honors

PARMA, Ohio (athletics.tri-c.edu) – The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) announced its list of All-Academic honorees today, June 5, Leading all conference institutions, 45 Cuyahoga Community College student-athletes earned this prestigious recognition, highlighting the College's continued success in fostering academic excellence among its student-athletes.

Even more impressive, the Triceratops had 17 student-athletes finish the Spring semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA, also a conference-best mark. Each Tri-C team had at least one OCCAC All-Academic honoree.

"Our team's commitment to excellence extends beyond competition, as demonstrated by the number of players earning All-Academic Team honors with outstanding GPAs," said Anthony Franklin, Executive Director of Athletics, Recreation and Wellness.

To qualify for All-Academic honors, a student must maintain a 3.30 grade point average while completing at least 12 credit hours over the semester. The OCCAC releases All-Academic lists for all sports, regardless of whether the sport is in-season or not.
