The ribbon cutting ceremony featured speakers Dr. Michael Baston, President of Cuyahoga Community College; Bob DiBiasio, Senior VP of Public Affairs with the Cleveland Guardians; James Harris, Assistant General Manager of the Cleveland Guardians; Travis Bazzana, 2024 first overall pick and current second baseman of the Cleveland Guardians; and Parma Mayor Timothy DeGeeter.
The facility is the first Training Center for the Guardians and represents a strong partnership between the Major League Baseball club and Cuyahoga Community College.

Tri-C athletes will have access to cutting-edge technology inside the indoor facility, including Trackman and HitTrax technology to better prepare and improve on the mound and at the plate.
